IRCC invites 2,985 Express Entry candidates after month-long pause !

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 2,985 invitations to apply on May 30, 2024 in a Provincial Nominee Program draw. The department issued 2,985 ITAs in a program-specific draw for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Any applicant who needs to show proof of funds as part of their eligibility will need to show funds according to the new requirements (As per the new updated proof of funds)

Alberta Issues 40 Invitations In Healthcare Canada Express Entry Draw

In a recent draw conducted through the Express Entry-linked stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program, Alberta focused on healthcare professionals, extending 40 invitations.

During the May 1 draw, the province specifically targeted candidates with job offers through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, requiring a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 305 points.

British Columbia PNP Conducts Latest Draw: Minimum Score Remains at 126

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held its latest draw on May 14th, 2024, continuing its focus on attracting skilled workers to the province.

The general draw targeted Skilled Workers and International Graduates with a minimum cut-off score remaining steady at 126 points. A total of 54 invitations were issued to Skilled Workers in this category, with the number for International Graduates unspecified. The draw also targeted Early Childhood Educators, construction workers, and healthcare professionals. The number of invitations issued for these targeted draws ranged from 9 to 17, indicating a specific need for qualified individuals in these sectors.

Manitoba Seeks Skilled Workers: 371 Invitations Issued in Latest PNP Draw

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued a wave of invitations on May 9, 2024, seeking to bolster the province’s skilled workforce. A total of 371 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were sent to qualified candidates.

This draw targeted applicants through various streams:

* International Education Stream: Welcoming graduates from Manitoba’s educational institutions.
* Occupations with Specific Selection: Focusing on specific in-demand professions.
